The form below works for student accounts, meaning accounts created with a @student-cs.fr address — those are the only accounts the app creates itself.

For any other account (company, Forum staff member, administration account), request deletion by e-mail at contact@forum-cs.fr. We handle the request within one month at most. Those accounts were created by the Forum organisation (not by you inside the app): self-service deletion is deliberately disabled for them, in particular because it would break event logistics mid-day.

Deleted immediately and permanently

• your account: e-mail address, display name, course and year of study;
• your CVs: the PDF files themselves and their associated information;
• every CV share you granted to a company;
• the annotations companies wrote on your CVs;
• your sharing QR codes and all your sign-in sessions.

Kept, but no longer linked to you

• your satisfaction survey answers: they are anonymised, not erased — the link to your account is broken, the answers stay in the event statistics;
• the technical CV access logs (who viewed what, and when), kept for traceability and detached from your identity;
• an anonymous record of your deletion request (a technical fingerprint, without your e-mail address), kept for 3 years: this is what lets us prove your request was honoured.

Not yet covered by automatic deletion

We would rather write this down than let you assume otherwise. This data lives in a second system — the one running event-day logistics — which automatic deletion does not reach yet. It is deleted on simple request to contact@forum-cs.fr, within one month at most:

• your device's technical notification identifier, if you enabled notifications (it contains neither your name nor your e-mail address, and becomes unusable as soon as the app is uninstalled);
• for Forum staff members only: the locations recorded if you had enabled location sharing, and the free-text messages you wrote in the logistics tools (incident reports, backup requests, supply requests).

Regardless of any request, we commit to keeping staff locations for at most 3 weeks after the event, then deleting them.

What we cannot take back

If a company had downloaded one of your CVs before you deleted your account, that file now sits with them and we have no technical means of recalling it. You can exercise your rights directly with them; we can tell you which companies you had shared a CV with if you ask us before deleting your account.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible: no undo, no trash, no restore. To check that the request really comes from you, we send you a 6-digit code — the same code you use to sign in to the app.

Reminder: this form only works for @student-cs.fr addresses. For any other account, write to contact@forum-cs.fr.

You do not have to delete everything to take back control:

• a CV: from the app's CV tab, each CV can be deleted individually (the file and its shares go with it);
• a share: a share granted to a company can be revoked at any time from the CV tab — the company loses access immediately;
• notifications: turn them off in Settings → Notifications;
• location sharing (Forum staff): can be turned off at any time, both in your phone settings and in the app;
• any other data: write to contact@forum-cs.fr stating what you want deleted.

• Student account via the form above: immediate. Deletion happens during your request, it is not queued.
• Request by e-mail: one month at most from receipt (the GDPR statutory deadline), in practice much shorter.

Beyond erasure, you have the right to access, rectify, object to and port your data. To exercise those rights, write to contact@forum-cs.fr. All processing is described in the privacy policy.
